The way Axelsen has been playing, nobody can beat him n this tournament unless Momota’s here

Doesn’t look like Axelson has skipped a beat from last week.

Viktor too strong: Speed and technique, accurancy ! Kunlavut could not do anything, on this match he must have even more patience and power.

Axelsen made the strongest Badmimton prodigee looking like an amateur here again. As recently many others and future opponents most likely, too.

It is daylight clear that je elevated his game to another lvl. (And btw im a badminton-watchimg noob/rookie ;)..i like and play handball/basketball/tabletennis)

Not just bodywise/athleticwise or cardiowise, he added more sharpness/precision in his shots (backline lifts and smashes), judges the backline calls high lvl. But the most significant is his gameplan improved and merged perfectly with his bodytype amd skillset.

playing precise to the backline again and again, defends even more high lift backline (even after short net balls from his opp's), and then when the shuttle is just high enuff 1-3 (more powerfull) smashes amd point is over. Shorter rallies, lesser cardio needed
He doesnt playing/defending anymore that often, outgasing? back to back short net balls rallies. This is V.A. 3.0- hard to stop, world ranking 2 now
Only K.Momota can cause him problems right now. A better and completer version of already great LD or Shu Qui (both china)

It's so boring to watch Axelsen's matches because he hardly changes pace and always sticks to the same shots...
I mean yes, he wins, but I like to see a bit more variety during matches
