My name is Daniel Maches. I am a proud member of the Lias Tribe in Barlig, Mountain Province, Philippines where I also grew up climbing mountains, exploring rainforests, chasing waterfalls, getting lost in the wilderness, planting rice on terraces, and practicing our inherited cultural practices.

I am a proud indigenous person so you can call me by my native name, Kumafor. I'm one of those they call the Igorots! Yeehaah!

I hope to show you the beauty of living in the mountains, the simplicity of it, and the unique experiences and encounters. There's so much to see and experience in this northern part of the Philippines.
